Why Every School Needs Dyslexia Specialists

This question was raised by a teacher as a possible idea.

Getting a diagnosis of dyslexia can be helpful, but if you expect it to translate into extra support for learning, that doesn’t automatically happen. Even back in the olden days, dyslexia diagnoses didn’t receive resource hours.

The mad thing is that it is estimated that 10% of people are dyslexic.

Wouldn’t it make sense that there would be teachers with specialisms in dyslexia in every school?
