Rethinking Irish in Schools: From Rote Exams to Spoken Fluency and Flexible Paths

Stage 1 of the Gaeilge Theme in our Unconvention has completed with hundreds of comments and some excellent research.

While most adults support teaching Irish, the debate focuses on replacing outdated rote learning and rigid exams with a greater emphasis on spoken fluency, flexible learning pathways, and better accommodations for students with additional needs.
