In all other aspects of the education system, teachers’ recommendations for SNAs, supports, therapies, etc. are completely ignored and have no grounding in any allocation of services.
Under AON, teachers are being asked to make those very judgments without being trained diagnosticians, resourced psychologists, or experts in therapy.
