On the way home after an fantastic Educate Together Principals’ Conference. This is their 20th one and I’ve been to 16 of them. I missed the first 3 because I wasn’t a principal and missed last year because I was watching Sheffield United get annihilated by Arsenal in Bramall Lane.

As always, the conference gives me a much needed boost. Being among people that not only understand the intensity of being a principal of a primary school, but also those who get why Educate Together is essentially a refuge for so many people, including myself.

We all know there’s so much more that needs to be done to make our education system one that is truly inclusive and we know that have a responsibility to keep that vision driving forward.
