New Government plans propose financial incentives for those who voluntarily enroll in Irish language lessons and pass proficiency exams.

If we really want to solve the problem of the ever-decreasing momentum of the Irish language in Ireland, we first have to admit it’s ever-decreasing rather than living in the denial that it’s thriving. Maybe it is in certain pockets but not nationally.
